I'm sure you guys are tired of my dumb posts about the rules. Believe me I am tired of writing them.
1. Please post your previous day's record AND your season to date record in your first post of each day. That way it will be easier for the other guys to keep track of how you are doing.
2. At the end of each week I will post updated standings. I'll try to do this every Monday morning. Unless I have been out drinking on Sunday night in which case I will probably just say screw it.
3. Good point made by Chris Graham last night - If you find it completely impossible to post your play(s) AND you can't find someone to post them for you, just call or text another contestant and tell them what your play(s) are BEFORE the game starts. Then you can go back and past post and the person you called or texted will be able to vouch for you.
4. In an effort to get some side bets going I am going to be spreading rumors about what you guys have been saying behind each others backs. Of course, in the case of Hoffman, I will not need to spread any rumors because he is actually saying those things.
That is all.

Calling All Sharps
I have another announcement for you degenerates. I received a frantic phone call the other night from a concerned sharp. Normally it wouldn't have bothered me but I was trying to watch that new ep of SP with the Queef sisters so I found it very annoying. Anyways I don't want to ever get a phone call like that again because I want this stupid thing to be as little work for me as possible and therefore I am going to try to nip this in the bud right now.
The sharp in question was complaining about past posting in the contest and I have to admit he had a point. Originally, I was going to allow past posting of contest picks because I was sure there would be instances when people like Bennett would make bets at unfathomably good numbers but be unable to post the plays in time due to circumstances beyond his control. However, now that there are a number of people with posting privileges and I know for a fact that posting at work is possible due to Ed's infatuation with all things "Blog," there really is never any excuse for not being able to post your picks.
First of all, any picks that were past posted prior to today WILL count. Here are the official rules on posting of plays:
1. All plays MUST be posted before the first pitch.
2. If it is absolutely impossible for you to personally post your play call me or another contestant and ask them to post it for you. (Note: I would really prefer if you called someone besides me. Just call Scott. That kid can literally do anything from his phone. Believe me. He's mentioned it many, many times.)
3. If you are asked to post the play of another contestant, simply type their name in the title where you would normally type your own.
** I am not going to bother coming up with rules for what would happen if someone posted the play of another person that said person had not actually asked him to post. While I do feel that would be very funny, it would not be in the spirit of the event and that person would most likely be banned from the competition. Although, I would privately laugh about it. And probably publicly laugh about it.
4. And if somehow you find that there is no possible way you can post your pick and you can't get in touch with anyone else to post it for you - You are just going to have to be satisfied with the fact that you (Hopefully) made money on your bet.
